• Create at least 1 hour's worth of merchandise sketches (stickers, charms, buttons, pins, etc). The minimum amount for pieces intended to be under 2.5cm/1in is 5 sketches, while the minimum for pieces between 1-3in is 3 sketches.

• Do 3 composition ideas for business cards (horizontal and vertical formats both a-ok) - alternatively you can do other promotional materials if you have no interest or need of business cards.
  e.g. a letterhead, new resume format, blog/website layout that indicate palette and layout ideas - they dont have to contain illustrations unless you actually want those on your card/blog/etc.
• Award: 2 Random Stamps and 1 Notoriety Point.
• Bonus stamps:
  • 2 bonus stamps for integrating typeface/text design into the card (choosing fonts for headers and text bodies for other promo material).
  • 2 bonus stamps for sketching the backs of 2 card ideas as well as the front. If you're not doing cards, you may do 2 additional sketches of a different category.

• Choose a character and draw three thumbnails of photographs that they might take (assume that they have the phone/camera required to take pictures). These just need to show the composition - doodly and small is fine, but they should show color distribution and indications of a background. Think something like 300x300 at largest.

  • 1 additional Random Stamp to choose and complete one to a full-size colored sketch or uncolored lineart. Must show setting/background.

• Pick a character and write a composition about their relationship with making or losing memories, experiences and the passage of time. No word limit.

  • 1 additional Random Stamp for exactly 750 words.
  • 3 additional Random Stamps for 1000 words or over.
